hihi from sunny St. Lucia!
I told myself I wasn’t going to work on this trip—both on my personal stuff (like The Sunday Series) or work work. yet, here we are.
I can be very black and white in how I think things should be versus how they are, and this idealized world in which I believed I wasn’t going to touch my laptop for five days is a perfect example of a fantasy and my reality not quite aligning.
but letting go of that story is okay, particularly considering that I’m genuinely inspired by everything I’m working on right now. so instead of getting upset with myself that I didn’t get this (or many other things!!) done before departing New York, I sat down with my laptop here on Saturday and Sunday evening to put this together, sharing what I think will be some worthwhile insights to help you look back at your first three months of the year, and recalibrate where needed as you gear up for the next three…
today’s edition of The Sunday Series is exclusively available for paid subscribers as I share 16 prompts for a positive personal quarterly review. quarterly review: thought starters
of the four categories, this one is the most ‘general’ as it’s meant to get your creative energy flowing. grab your journal, a pen, and let’s get into it!
if I had to relive one single day from the past three months over again exactly as it already played out, which day would it be? describe it in as much detail as possible.
for funsies, I’m going to share my answer to this question!!! my favorite day of the past quarter happened to be March 8th, International Women’s Day. I woke up after a particularly fun date the night prior, eager to recount the evening’s musings with my girls. it wasn’t even 8a when I texted to see who was up for L’Appartement 4F…walking up to the West Village window to see my gals, who were all too eager to indulge me in sharing the juicy details of my evening. it felt so Sex and The City coded, it was nearly laughable.
